ORDER

Considering the Petition for Interim Suspension for Threat of Harm filed by the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, the response thereto filed by respondent, and the report and recommendation of the hearing committee,

IT IS ORDERED that respondent, Jerome W. Dixon, Louisiana Bar Roll number 18587, be and he hereby is suspended from the practice of law on an interim basis pursuant to Supreme Court Rule XIX, § 19.2. Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule XIX, § 26(E), this order shall take effect when respondent's current suspension from the practice of law in In re: Dixon, 08-1618 (La. 12/2/08), 996 So. 2d 1029, expires.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Office of Disciplinary Counsel shall prosecute the newly filed formal charges in an expedited fashion.
