IN RE STEVEN M. CURTICE, Relator

ORIGINAL PROCEEDING WRIT OF MANDAMUS
County Court at Law No. 2 Galveston County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 17-FD-1370

MEMORANDUM OPINION

On February 12, 2018, relator Steven M. Curtice filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this court. See Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 22.221 (West Supp. 2017); see also Tex. R. App. P. 52. In the petition, relator asks this court to compel the Honorable Barbara Roberts, presiding judge of County Court at Law No. 2 of Galveston County, to vacate her February 2, 2018 order granting real party in interest's second motion to compel key audio and video records and transcriptions and for the assessment of monetary sanctions for abuse of legal process, abuse of discovery, and for ongoing suppression of evidence.

Relator has not established that he is entitled to mandamus relief. Accordingly, we deny relator's petition for writ of mandamus. We also deny relator's motion to stay.

PER CURIAM Panel consists of Justices Boyce, Donovan, and Wise.
