ORDER OF CONTINUING ABATEMENT

Terry Adams, Judge.

On March 14, 2024, we abated this appeal pending a restoration investigation in the trial court. On June 26, 2024, appellant Joseph Charles Corpora filed an agreed motion to continue the abatement of this this appeal while appellant attempts rehabilitation.

We grant appellant's motion to continue the abatement of this appeal. This appeal will be reinstated on this Court's active docket after appellant notifies this Court of the outcome of the restoration investigation or rehabilitation.

This Court will also consider a motion to reinstate filed by either party or a motion to dismiss the appeal. No later than 45 days from the date of this order, the parties shall file a motion to reinstate and dismiss the appeal, a motion to reinstate and proceed with the appeal, or a report advising the Court of the status of the proceedings. If the parties do not respond as directed, the case may be reinstated on the Court's active docket and the appeal will proceed under the applicable Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure.

It is so ORDERED
