In the Guardianship of Joseph Charles Corpora, an Incapacitated Person

Probate Court No. 1 of Travis County C-1-PB-22-001442 Trial court case number:

ORDER OF ABATEMENT

Terry Adams Judge

Appellant Joseph Charles Corpora has filed an unopposed motion to abate the appeal pending a restoration investigation in the trial court. We grant the motion.

Accordingly, we abate the appeal and direct the Clerk of this Court to treat it as a closed case and to remove it from this Court's active docket. This appeal will be reinstated on this Court's active docket after appellant notifies this Court of the outcome of the restoration investigation.

This Court will also consider a motion to reinstate filed by either party or a motion to dismiss the appeal. No later than 45 days from the date of this order, the parties shall file a motion to reinstate and dismiss the appeal, a motion to reinstate and proceed with the appeal, or a report advising the Court of the status of the proceedings. If the parties do not respond as directed, the case may be reinstated on the Court's active docket and the appeal will proceed under the applicable Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure.

It is so ORDERED.
