OPERATING ORDER

Parties filing documents with this Court have the responsibility of ensuring that the documents bear the correct case and adversary proceeding numbers. For purposes of docketing and case administration, the Clerk of Court relics on the case and adversary proceeding numbers shown on such documents, even in the instance of inconsistent information provided in the filing. The Clerk of Court is not required to reconcile the case name (or parties' names in an adversary proceeding) with the case or proceeding number shown on the document; the case and adversary proceeding numbers shown are controlling. Any party who files a document using an incorrect case or proceeding number must file appropriate motions in order for the Court to consider any issues resulting from the error.

This Court uses the Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) automated docketing system for maintaining the docket record of case and adversary proceedings and for case administration. CM/ECF assigns a seven digit number (a two-digit year plus five-digit sequential number) for each case and adversary proceeding filed. The name of debtor or parties used in the caption is not controlling in that system.

AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
