LC No. 20-000057-NA.

Kathleen Jansen, Presiding Judge, Colleen A. O'Brien, Noah P. Hood, Judges.

ORDER

This Court's opinion and order, entered on December 15, 2022, vacated the trial court's order terminating respondent-mother's parental rights, and remanded, while retaining jurisdiction, for further proceedings. Specifically, the trial court was ordered to clarify the evidence relied on in its decision to terminate respondent-mother's parental rights and whether this decision was consistent with In re Jackisch/Stamm-Jackisch, __ Mich App __; __N.W.2d __ (2022) (Docket No. 357001). On remand, the trial court determined termination of respondent-mother's parental rights was appropriate because of domestic violence perpetrated by respondent-father, and despite both respondents participating in services aimed at domestic violence, respondent-mother continued to maintain a relationship with respondent-father, more domestic violence occurred, and there was a likelihood the children would be harmed if returned to her care. Because the remand proceedings have rendered moot any remaining appellate issues, this appeal is DISMISSED. MCR 7.211(C)(2); MCR 7.216(A)(7). We do not retain jurisdiction.
