In the MATTER OF Kendal COLEMAN, An Attorney At Law (Attorney No. 005892000)


ORDER

The Disciplinary Review Board having filed with the Court its decision in DRB 18-211 and DRB 18-218, concluding that Kendal Coleman of Clifton, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 2000, should be censured for violating RPC 1.15(a) (negligent misappropriation of and failure to safeguard funds), RPC 1.15(d), Rule 1:21-6(recordkeeping rules), RPC 5.5 (a) (1) (unauthorized practice of law), RPC 7.1(a) (communication about a lawyer or the lawyer's services), RPC 8.4(c) (engaging in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation);

And the Disciplinary Review Board having further determined that respondent should complete certain continuing legal education courses and should provide the Office of Attorney Ethics with quarterly reconciliations of his attorney trust account:

And good cause appearing;

It is ORDERED that Kendal Coleman is hereby censured; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent shall (1) attend the New Jersey State Bar Association Diversionary Continuing Legal Education Program, and submit proof of attendance to the Office of Attorney Ethics; (2) attend the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education New Jersey Trust and Business Accounting Program, or its equivalent, and submit proof of attendance to the Office of Attorney Ethics within ninety days thereafter; and (3) provide the Office of Attorney Ethics with quarterly reconciliations of his attorney trust account for a period of two years and until the further Order of the Court; and it is further

ORDERED that the entire record of this matter be made a permanent part of respondent's file as an attorney at law of this State; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Disciplinary Oversight Committee for appropriate administrative costs and actual expenses incurred in the prosecution of this matter, as provided in Rule 1:20-17.
