In the MATTER OF David K. CHIN, An Attorney at Law (Attorney No. 014402004)


575 ORDER

The Disciplinary Review Board having filed with the Court its decision in DRB 23-224, recommending that David K. Chin of Jersey City, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 2004, should be reprimanded for violating RPC 1.4(b) (failing to communicate with a client), RPC 1.16(c) (failing to comply with applicable law requiring notice to or permission of a tribunal when terminating a representation), and RPC 1.16(d) (failing to protect a client’s interests upon termination of the representation);

And good cause appearing;

It is ORDERED that David K. Chin is hereby reprimanded; and it is further

ORDERED that the entire record of this matter be made a permanent part of respondent’s file as an attorney at law of this State; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Disciplinary Oversight Committee for appropriate administrative costs and actual 576expenses incurred in the prosecution of this matter, as provided in Rule 1:20-17.
