ORDER

GERARDO CARLO, Chief Judge

The Court has been moved by the Puerto Rico Bankruptcy Bar Association to consider the need of an increase in legal fees for Chapter 13 debtor's attorneys. In order to ensure that all parties have an opportunity to participate in such determination and that the court receives the recommendations, data and evidence necessary to properly evaluate said petition, we are hereby providing all interested parties an opportunity to be heard by the three judges of the court, and to present evidence and/or arguments regarding the request for an increase in attorney fees.

A hearing is scheduled for March 2, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in the Old San Juan Courthouse Building, courtroom 2, wherein the court will hear arguments and evidence regarding this matter.

All members of the Puerto Rico Bankruptcy Bar Association are invited to present their opinions as well as the Chapter 13 Trustees, the U.S. Trustee and any debtor or creditor's attorney or person, that may represent any segment of the bar or persons affected. In order to facilitate the presentation of evidence and testimony, we are hereby requesting that the Puerto Rico Bankruptcy Bar Association appears through its president or designee and all others appear through designated lead counsels. Individual presentations may be allowed if requested from the clerk of the court, in writing, at least ten (10) days before the hearing date. Individual requests should indicate the justification for the request.

The lead counsels will be allowed up to a maximum of thirty (30) minutes each, and individual parties will be granted five (5) minutes each for their presentation. All documents, evidence, data, etc. that the parties wish to have the court consider should be filed with the clerk of the court no later than five (5) days prior to the hearing.

The clerk will notify this order to the Puerto Rico Bankruptcy Bar Association, the U.S. Trustee and Chapter 13 Trustees, and place a copy of the same on all the bulletin boards of the courthouse and in our web page.
