IN RE CERTAIN UNDERWRITERS AT LLOYD'S, LONDON SUBSCRIBING SEVERALLY TO POLICY NO. THM000938-01
ON PETITION FOR WRIT OF MANDAMUS
Before Chief Justice Contreras and Justices Tijerina and Pena
ORDER
PER CURIAM
By petition for writ of mandamus, relator Certain Underwriters at Lloyd's, London Subscribing Severally to Policy No. THM000938-01 contends that the trial court abused its discretion by: (1) denying its plea in intervention; and (2) denying its motion to compel appraisal. Relator has also filed a motion to stay the trial court proceedings pending the resolution of its petition for writ of mandamus.
The Court, having examined and fully considered the motion to stay the trial court proceedings, is of the opinion that it should be granted. We grant the motion to stay, and we order the trial court proceedings to be stayed pending the resolution of this petition for writ of mandamus or further order of this Court. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.10 ("Unless vacated or modified, an order granting temporary relief is effective until the case is finally decided.").
The Court requests the real parties in interest, Jesus and Cynthia Santoyo, American Claims Management, Inc., and Judah Hale Hays, or any others whose interest may be affected by the relief sought, to file a response to the petition for writ of mandamus on or before the expiration of ten (10) days from the date of this order. See id. R. 52.2, 52.4, 52.8.
