IN THE MATTER OF: C.C., Z.C., and K.M. IV, Youths in Need of Care.

ORDER

On March 6, 2023, this Court reviewed a motion to withdraw filed by Austin Wallis, counsel for the Appellant Mother in this matter, and ordered Appellant Mother to respond to the motion within 30 days. Wallis has further filed a brief in support of his motion to withdraw pursuant to Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738, 87 S.Ct. 1396 (1967). After reviewing the brief, this Court has determined that it does not comply with the M. R. App. P. 10(6) and must be resubmitted.

M. R. App. P. 10(6) requires that only the initials of the child, parents, or individual parties may be used in all filings. Counsel has referred to the birthfathers / stepfathers of the children by full name throughout the brief.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the referenced brief is rejected.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that within ten (10) days of the date of this Order Wallis shall electronically file with the Clerk of this Court a revised brief containing the revisions necessary to comply with M. R. App. P. 10(6) and shall serve copies of the revised brief on all parties of record;

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that no changes, additions, or deletions other than those specified in this Order may be made to the brief as originally filed; and

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the times for any subsequent briefing contained in M. R. App. P. 13 shall run from the date of filing of the revised brief.

The Clerk is directed to provide a true copy of this Order to the Appellant and to all parties of record.
