IN RE: Judge Marissa J. Brumbach Municipal Court Judge 1st Judicial District Philadelphia County

ORDER CONCERNING OMNIBUS MOTION

PER CURIAM

And now, this 3rd day of April, 2023, the Court of Judicial Discipline ORDERS as follows: Beside the need for the legal claims at issue to be clarified, the practices, procedures, and rules of the Traffic Court as relevant to this case have not been fully developed to the degree necessary to enable the Court of Judicial Discipline to fully consider this matter.

It is not clear on the record before the Court at this point whether the charges brought involve the determination of a purely legal matter or a mixed issue of fact and law as in U.S. Bank v. Village of Lakeridge, 138 S.Ct. 960 (2018). Accordingly, the Omnibus Motion is DENIED and said Motion may be renewed at a later point in these proceedings once the issues discussed in this ORDER are further developed.
