ORDER
The Director of the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility has filed a petition for disciplinary action seeking reciprocal discipline under Rule 12(d), Rules on Lawyers Professional Responsibility (RLPR), based on an opinion of the North Dakota Supreme Court publicly reprimanding respondent Julie Lynn Bruggeman. See In re Bruggeman , 887 N.W.2d 314, 315 (N.D. 2016). The reprimand was based on respondent's lack of diligence, failure to communicate with a client, and failure to properly withdraw from representation. Id. Respondent's misconduct violated N.D. R. Prof. Conduct 1.3, 1.4, and 1.16. Bruggeman , 887 N.W.2d at 315.
Respondent waives her rights under Rule 12(d), RLPR, and unconditionally admits the allegations in the petition. The parties jointly recommend that the appropriate discipline is a public reprimand.
The court has independently reviewed the file and agrees to impose reciprocal discipline.
Based upon all the files, records, and proceedings herein,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
1. Respondent Julie Lynn Bruggeman is publicly reprimanded.
2. Respondent shall pay $900 in costs pursuant to Rule 24, RLPR.
BY THE COURT:
