Opinion

No. 05-10-00093-CV

Opinion issued January 28, 2010.

Original Proceeding from the District 9-5A Executive Committee Dallas County, Texas.

Before Justices MORRIS, FRANCIS, and FILLMORE.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Before the Court is relator's petition for writ of mandamus naming the District 9-5A Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League as respondent. The facts and issues are well known to the parties, so we need not recount them herein. This Court does not have mandamus jurisdiction over this committee. See Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 22.221 (Vernon 2004). Accordingly, we DISMISS relator's petition for a writ of mandamus for want of jurisdiction. As a result of this ruling, relator's Motion for Emergency Relief is MOOT.
