CONSENT ORDER This matter having been opened to the Court by the Office of Attorney Ethics, and with the consent of Michael D. Bolton of Branchburg, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1987, through his counsel, to be transferred to disability inactive status pursuant to Rule 1:20-12;
And it appearing that Michael D. Bolton and the Office of Attorney Ethics have agreed that Michael D. Bolton lacks the capacity to practice law and that he should be transferred to disability inactive status pursuant to Rule 1:20-12, and good cause appearing;
It is ORDERED that Michael D. Bolton, who has been temporarily suspended from the practice of law since May 27, 2015, pursuant to the Orders of the Court filed May 27, 2015 and August 2, 2016, is hereby transferred to disability inactive status, effective immediately, pending the final determination of any grievances against him, and until the further Order of the Court; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent shall not return to Active status unless and until he demonstrates that he has regained the capacity to practice law and has complied with the Orders of the Court filed May 27, 2015, and August 2, 2016; and it is further
ORDERED that Michael D. Bolton is hereby restrained from practicing law during the period that he remains on disability inactive status; and it is further
ORDERED that Michael D. Bolton comply will Rule 1:20-20 governing incapacitated attorneys; and it is further
ORDERED that all funds that were restrained from disbursement pursuant to the prior Orders of the Court, including all funds, if any, currently existing or hereinafter deposited in any New Jersey financial institution maintained by Michael D. Bolton pursuant to Rule 1:21-6 or in a fiduciary capacity, shall be transferred by the financial institution to the Clerk of the Superior Court, who shall deposit said funds into the Superior Court Trust Fund, where they shall remain restrained from disbursement pending the further Order of this Court; and it is further ORDERED that the entire record of this matter be made a permanent part of the file of Michael D. Bolton as an attorney at law of this State.
