ORDER

The order of February 7, 2022 is VACATED to the extent that it held the application in abeyance, pending receipt of the transcript and answers.

The motion for peremptory reversal pursuant to MCR 7.211(C)(4) is DENIED for failure to persuade the Court of the existence of manifest error requiring reversal and warranting peremptory relief without argument or formal submission.

The application for leave to appeal is GRANTED. The time for taking further steps in this appeal runs from the date of the Clerk's certification of this order. MCR 7.205(E)(3). This appeal is limited to the issues raised in the application and supporting brief. MCR 7.205(E)(4).

On the Court's own motion, this appeal is to EXPEDITED. The appellant's brief is due no later than 35 days from the Clerks certification of this order. The appellee's brief is due no later than 21 days after service of the appellant's brief. No extensions of time will be allowed for filing of the briefs except by order of the Court.

The Clerk is directed to expedite the submission of this case on the session calendar in accordance with MCR 7.213(C)(7).

The stay ordered by this Court on February 7, 2022 remains in place.
