IN THE INTEREST OF B.C.F., JR., D.E.F., AND A.R.F., CHILDREN

ON APPEAL FROM THE 25TH DISTRICT COURT OF GONZALES COUNTY, TEXAS

Before Justices Benavides, Longoria, and Silva

ORDER TO FILE APPELLANT'S BRIEF

Per Curiam

This cause is before the Court on trial counsel's failure to file a brief. On May 31, 2024, the parties were notified that the briefing time schedule had begun, making appellant's brief due on or before June 20, 2024. On June 25, 2024, this Court sent notice to counsel that the brief was past due. The notice informed counsel that this Court was giving her ten days to explain the delay and to file the brief, or the case would be dismissed. To date, appellant's counsel has failed to file a brief.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Honorable Stacy M. January, counsel for appellant, file the appellate brief with this Court on or before 5:00 p.m. on July 15, 2024. FAILURE TO FILE THE BRIEF AS ORDERED WILL RESULT IN A SHOW CAUSE HEARING.
