BANKS (ANTHONY) ON CLEMENCY
Clemency file returned, no action taken
The June 16, 2021, order requiring the Governor to resubmit the record in this clemency matter to the court, in the manner prescribed by California Rules of Court, rules 8.45 and 8.46(d)(2)-(5) and Administrative Order 2021-05-26 is vacated in light of the Governor's withdrawal of his request for a recommendation from this court on the clemency application of Mr. Banks.
The First Amendment Coalition's August 21, 2020, “Motion to Unseal Clemency-Related Court Records” is denied as moot.
