ORDER

CRAIG SMITH JUSTICE

By motion filed August 8, 2022, appellant informs the Court that the parties have settled, attaches a copy of an agreed order in suit to modify parent-child relationship signed by the parties, and requests, in part, that the Court abate the appeal to permit proceedings in the trial court to effectuate the settlement agreement. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.1(a)(2)(C). We GRANT the motion and DIRECT the trial court to conduct proceedings so as to effectuate the parties' agreement. See id. A status report or supplemental clerk's record containing a copy of the agreed order signed by the trial court shall be filed no later than September 12, 2022.

We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to the Honorable Mike Lee, Presiding Judge of the 256th Judicial District Clerk; Dallas County District Clerk Felicia Pitre; and, the parties.

We ABATE the appeal to allow the trial court an opportunity to comply with this order. The appeal shall be reinstated no later than September 16, 2022, and, should the trial court have signed the parties' agreed order, the appeal will be dismissed in due course.
