On September 5, 2007, the Supreme Court amended Supreme Court Rule No. 45(a)(3), Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure to allow the State Bar of Arizona to issue online subpoenas on behalf of the clerk of the superior court.

On October 30, 2008, the Supreme Court approved the State Bar of Arizona's plan for an online subpoena processing service. Now, therefore, pursuant to Rule 45(a)(3) of the Arizona Rules of the Supreme Court and Article VI, Section 3, of the Arizona Constitution,

IT IS ORDERED that the State Bar of Arizona is authorized to proceed with the implementation of an online subpoena processing service to its members with a convenience fee not to exceed $10 per subpoena.
