IN THE MATTER OF A.T., A JUVENILE

On Appeal from the 304th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. JD-23-01052-W

ORDER

ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE

This is an appeal from an order adjudicating appellant guilty of delinquent conduct and sentencing him to confinement. On October 18, 2024, appellant, through trial counsel Anthony M. Farmer, filed a motion to dismiss the appeal. Subsequently, the trial court appointed Andy Olivo as appellate counsel for appellant, and trial counsel moved to withdraw.

In light of Mr. Olivo's recent appointment and Mr. Farmer's withdrawal, we DENY the motion to dismiss without prejudice to appellant filing a new motion through Mr. Olivo. Any new motion to dismiss the appeal shall be signed by appellant.

We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to remove Mr. Farmer as counsel for appellant and substitute Mr. Olivo in his place.

We note the reporter's record has not been filed, and nothing before us reflects it has been requested. Accordingly, we ORDER appellant to file, no later than November 18, 2024, written verification he has requested the reporter's record.
