ORDER

Supreme Court Order

A judicial vacancy was created in the Sixth Judicial Circuit when The Honorable Steven L. Zinter, Circuit Judge, became a member of this Court. Pursuant to Article V Section 3 of the South Dakota Constitution and rules adopted pursuant thereto, this Court entered a Notice of Special Hearing dated February 27, 2002. The Court held said hearing on April 22, 2002, at Pierre, South Dakota, relating to the judicial vacancy. The Court having considered the correspondence and oral presentations relating thereto, and being fully advised in the premises, now, therefore, it is

ORDERED that the judicial vacancy be and it is hereby assigned to the Seventh Judicial Circuit effective immediately, it is

FURTHER ORDERED that the Judicial Qualifications Commission may proceed to fulfill its constitutional duties concerning this vacancy and it is

FURTHER ORDERED that SDCL 16-6-1, a Court rule, is amended to conform to this Order.
