The presiding judge of the Superior Court of Arizona in Yuma County has requested the assignment of a judge of the Arizona Court of Appeals to serve in that court to preside over calendars in August and September, 2008. Therefore, pursuant to Article 6, Section 3, of the Arizona Constitution,

IT IS ORDERED that, in addition to her regular duties as a judge of Division One of the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Honorable Patricia Orozco is assigned for a period beginning upon entry of this Order and ending September 30, 2008, to serve as a judge in the Superior Court in Yuma County. While serving as a judge in the designated matters, she shall have all of the powers and duties of a superior court judge. These powers and duties shall extend beyond the period of this assignment for the purpose of hearing and determining any proceeding necessary to a final determination of a cause heard in whole or in part during the period of this assignment.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this assignment is conditioned upon the agreement by Judge Orozco to serve in the Superior Court for any matters designated and to do so for no additional compensation or benefits, fiscal or otherwise.
