IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE STATE BOARD OF LAW EXAMINERS

ORDER
Brent E. Dickson, Acting Chief Justice of Indiana.
The second term of Leslie Shively as a member of the Indiana State Board of Law Examiners expired on December 1, 2011. The Court expresses its appreciation to Mr. Shively for his dedicated service. Pursuant to Ind. Admission and Discipline Rule 9, the Court now APPOINTS Jeffry A. Lind to begin a five-year term on the Board, which shall be effective immediately and shall end on December 1, 2016 or when a successor is appointed.
In addition, Professor Maria Pabon Lopez, whose first terni on the Indiana State Board of Law Examiners was to end on December 1, 2012, resigned from the Board before the expiration of her teim. The Court expresses its appreciation to Professor Lopez for her dedicated semce as well. Pursuant to Ind. Admission and Disciphne Rule 9, the Court now APPOINTS Professor J. Eric Smithburn to complete Professor Lopez's term on the board, which will expire on December 1, 2012, and then to his own first terni, which shall begin on December 1, 2012 and end on December 1, 2017 or when a successor is appointed.
The Clerk is directed to send a copy of this order to Leslie Shively; to Jeffry Lind; to Professor Maria Pabon Lopez; to Professor J. Eric Smithburn; to Bradley Skolnik, Executive Director of the Board of Law Examiners; and to Kevin S. Smith, Clerk/Administrator of the Indiana Supreme Court.
