IN RE APPLUS TECHNICAL SERVICES USA, INC. AND VICTORCASTRO, Relators
ORIGINAL PROCEEDING WRIT OF MANDAMUS 127th District Court Harris County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 2024-06910
Panel consists of Chief Justice Christopher and Justices Zimmerer and Wilson.
ORDER
PER CURIAM
On February 21, 2024, relators Applus Technical Services USA, Inc. and Victor Castro filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this Court. See Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 22.221; see also Tex. R. App. P. 52. In the petition, relators ask this Court to compel the Honorable Ravi K. Sandill, presiding judge of the 127th District Court of Harris County, to vacate the trial court's February 21, 2024 order denying relators' motion to dismiss.
On February 22, 2024, relators filed a motion for leave to file a sealed mandamus record. We deny relators' motion for leave to seal.
We order relators' counsel to provide to the Clerk of this Court on or before March 4, 2024, on a thumb drive in electronic form a full, unredacted copy of all documents submitted to the trial court for in-camera inspection including the complete Master Stock Purchase Agreement (the "SPA"). These documents shall be accompanied on the thumb drive with an affidavit attesting that they are the same documents that were submitted to the trial court for its in-camera inspection. This Court will not post the documents on the court's website, and the providing of such documents to the Clerk of this Court will not itself be viewed as a waiver of confidentiality or privilege in any way. Third parties will not be granted access to the records. Pending further order of this Court, the record will be returned to relators' counsel contemporaneous with the issuance of this Court's opinion in this original proceeding.
