IN THE INTEREST OF A.O.D.-N., A MINOR CHILD
On Appeal from the 254th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. DF-10-09403
ORDER
ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE
Because appellant's brief does not meet the general requirements of Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure 9 and 38, we STRIKE appellant's brief filed on September 13, 2024. We ORDER appellant to file, no later than October 4, 2024, a brief that conforms with rules 9 and 38 including the requirements that it contain (1) a concise statement of the case, the course of proceedings, and the trial court's disposition of the case supported by record references; (2) a statement of facts supported by appropriate record references; and (2) appropriate citations to the record in the argument portion of the brief. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.1.
Additionally, both the brief and documents in the appendix to the brief contain sensitive data such as the minor child's name or date of birth in violation of rule 9.9. See id. 9.9(a),(c). The brief and documents contained in the appendix should be redacted to remove sensitive information. See id.
We caution appellant that failure to file an amended brief by the time specified may result in dismissal of this appeal without further notice. See id. 38.8(a)(1).
