IN RE Dominic S. ANDERSON

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Original Mandamus Proceeding PER CURIAM Sitting: Sandee Bryan Marion, Chief Justice Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice Irene Rios, Justice PETITION FOR WRIT OF MANDAMUS DENIED

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 14-2309-CR-A, styled State of Texas v. Dominic S. Anderson, pending in the 25th Judicial District Court, Guadalupe County, Texas, the Honorable William Old presiding.

On May 1, 2017, Relator filed a pro se petition for writ of mandamus. A relator has the burden of providing this court with a record sufficient to establish a right to mandamus relief. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.7(a) (relator must file "a certified or sworn copy of every document that is material to the relator's claim for relief and that was filed in any underlying proceeding"). Relator has provided this court with no record; therefore Relator failed to establish his right to mandamus relief. Accordingly, the petition for writ of mandamus is denied.
