IN THE INTEREST OF A.J.S., A.B.S., A.R.C., & A.N.M., Children

From the 150th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2022PA00652 Honorable Charles E. Montemayor, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Irene Rios, Justice.

This is an accelerated appeal from a final order terminating appellant's parental rights which must be disposed of by this court within 180 days of the date the notice of appeal was filed. See TEX. R. JUD. ADMIN. 6.2.

The trial court signed the termination order on November 20, 2023. Because this is an accelerated appeal, the notice of appeal was due on December 9, 2023. See TEX. R. APP. P. 26.1(b), 28.4; TEX. FAM. CODE ANN. § 263.405(a). Appellant filed her notice of appeal on December 21, 2023, and has filed a motion for extension of time to file her notice of appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 26.3 ("The appellate court may extend the time to file the notice of appeal if, within 15 days after the deadline for filing the notice of appeal, the party: (a) files in the trial court the notice of appeal; and (b) files in the appellate court a motion [for extension of time]."). The motion is GRANTED.

The clerk's record and reporter's record have been filed. The appellant's brief is due on or before February 13, 2024.
