ORDER ADOPTING CHARGES ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF THE ELECTRONIC FILING SYSTEM IN THE SUPREME COURT
The Supreme Court by this order adopts the following charges for use of the electronic filing system in the Supreme Court:
Users of the electronic filing system shall pay a $3.75 transaction charge. Users electronically filing more than one document in a case in the same transaction shall pay only one transaction charge.
Users of the electronic filing system shall pay a document recovery charge to offset the cost to the Supreme Court of making copies of electronically filed documents for the court's use. The document recovery charge shall be at the rate of $.10 per page multiplied by seven copies of every document electronically filed, except that no document recovery charge will be imposed for motions for extensions of time, consolidation, permission to file reply briefs or extended briefs, appellant's motion to dismiss, or stipulated motions to dismiss.
Both the transaction charge and the document recovery charge shall be waived during the pilot phase of the electronic filing project, beginning July 14, 2008, and continuing until electronic filing in the Supreme Court is available to any member of the Oregon State Bar who is authorized to practice law, estimated to occur in late August 2008.
