IN RE JARED WALTER ADAIR, Relator

Original Proceeding on Petition for Writ of Mandamus

Panel consists of Justices Kelly, Rivas-Molloy, and Guerra.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

PER CURIAM

Relator Jared Walter Adair, acting pro se, filed a Petition for Writ of Mandamus With Emergency Motion to Stay in connection with a judgment entered on April 28, 2022 in a forcible entry and detainer action and a related Notice to Vacate dated June 16, 2022. He argues mandamus and a stay are necessary pending appellate and federal review because his (1) "federal injunction" and pending appeal before this Court "will present serious legal and Constitutional issues," (2) "absent a restrain[t] and stay on the lower court order" he will suffer irreparable injury, and (3) the statute of frauds applies.

The underlying case is Jared Walter Adair, et al. v. Ricky's Enterprises, Inc., Cause No. 1181899, pending in the County Civil Court at Law No. 4 of Harris County, Texas, the Honorable Miryea Ayala presiding.

We deny the petition. All pending motions are dismissed as moot.
