ORDER
PER CURIAM
This matter is before the Court on appellant's failure to file appellant's brief. Appellant's brief was originally due on May 14, 2024. After three previous extensions, appellant's brief was ordered to be filed on June 10, 2024.
Appellant's counsel failed to timely file the brief. The Order contained an emphasized admonition that failure to file the brief as ordered will result in a show cause hearing. This Court looks with disfavor upon appellant's counsel's disregarding of its Order. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Honorable Sherika Clark-Jones, counsel for appellant, file the appellate brief with this Court instanter.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Honorable Sherika Clark-Jones shall appear IN PERSON on June 26, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Thirteenth Court of Appeals, located at Hidalgo County Courthouse Annex, 100 E. Cano Street, Fifth Floor, in Edinburg, Texas, to show cause why she should not be held in contempt of court for failing to file appellant's brief.
