ACCUSATION OF VELASCO
Petition denied (accusation)
The accusation is denied. The court directs the State Bar Office of Chief Trial Counsel to investigate whether RICHARD GERARD PRANTIL committed misconduct during its investigation of the complaint brought by Juan Carlo Velasco, Case No. 18-O-14958, in light of the Complaint Review Unit's letter dated August 22, 2019, at page 2, the Answer to Accusation filed August 7, 2020, at footnote 3, and the standards for further action by the State Bar as set forth in rules 2401, 2408(d), and 2604 of the Rules of Procedure of the State Bar.
