ORDER
This matter having been duly presented to the Court on the motion of the Office of Attorney Ethics seeking to compel Walter K. Abrams of South Plainfield, who was admitted to the bar of this state in 1975, to comply with the Court’s order filed on July 11, 2023 that required respondent to submit to the Office of Attorney Ethics (1) proof of a completed recordkeeping course pre-approved by the Office of Attorney Ethics within sixty days of this order, (2) proof of opening and maintaining an attorney trust account, pursuant to Rule 1:21-6(a), (3) monthly reconciliations of his attorney accounts, on a quarterly basis, for a two-year period, and (4) documentary proof of the release of all unclaimed trust account funds to their intended beneficiaries, or to the Superior Court Trust Fund Unit, as Rule 1:21-6(j) requires, within sixty days;
And the Office of Attorney Ethics having reported to the Court that respondent has failed to comply with any of the requirements set forth in the Court’s order;
And good cause appearing; It is ORDERED that Walter K. Abrams comply with the Court’s order filed on July 11, 2023, by submitting to the Office of Attorney Ethics.(1) proof of a completed recordkeeping course pre-approved by the Office of Attorney Ethics, (2) proof of opening and maintaining an attorney trust account, pursuant to Rule 1:21-6(a), (3) monthly reconciliations of his attorney accounts, on a quarterly basis, for a two-year period and (4) documentary proof of the release of all unclaimed trust account funds to their intended beneficiaries, or to the Superior Court Trust Fund Unit, as Rule 1:21-6(j) requires; and it is further
ORDERED that if respondent fails to comply with this order within thirty days, respondent shall be immediately temporarily suspended from the practice of law on submission to the Court of a detailed certification by the Office of Attorney Ethics.
