IN THE INTEREST OF A.A., A CHILD

On Appeal from the 416th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 416-51855-2020

ORDER

ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE

On November 5, 2021, after a review of appellant's brief showed the brief failed to satisfy certain briefing requirements under the rules of appellate procedure, we directed appellant to file a corrected brief within ten days. We subsequently extended the deadline to December 15, 2021. Appellant failed to file the corrected brief and on January 10, 2022, we ordered the appeal submitted on the deficient brief.

Before the Court are appellee's motion to dismiss the appeal based on inadequate briefing and for damages under Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 45, appellant's motion for extension of time to file the corrected brief, appellee's response, and appellant's reply. See Tex. R. App. P. 45 (providing for damages for frivolous appeals). We DENY both motions.

Appellee's brief remains due April 8, 2022.
