In the Matter of A.A., Jr.
On Appeal from the 313th District Court Harris County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 2016-04464J
ORDER
This is an accelerated appeal of an order waiving jurisdiction and transferring A.A. to district court to stand trial. See Tex. Fam. Code Ann. § 56.01.
Order regarding clerk's record. The clerk's record was filed April 10, 2017. The clerk's record does not contain the order being appealed, said to have been signed around March 29, 2017. See Tex. R. App. P. 34.5(a)(5). Accordingly, we order the Harris County District Clerk to file a supplemental clerk's record by April 21, 2017, containing the order being appealed. If the omitted item is not part of the case file, the district clerk is directed to file a supplemental clerk's record containing a certified statement that the omitted item is not a part of the case file.
Order regarding reporter's record. The notice of appeal was filed March 31, 2017. The reporter's record was due April 10, 2017, but has not been filed. See Tex. R. App. P. 35.1(b). Because the reporter's record has not been filed timely in this accelerated appeal, we issue the following order:
We order Jill Bartek, the official court reporter of the 313th District Court to file the record in this appeal by April 21, 2017. If Bartek does not timely file the record as ordered, the court will issue an order requiring her to appear at a hearing to show cause why the record has not been timely filed and why she should not be held in contempt of court for failing to file the record as ordered. Contempt of court is punishable by a fine and/or confinement in jail.
