ORDER APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE JUDGES AND LAWYERS ASSISTANCE COMMITTEE

LORETTA H. RUSH CHIEF JUSTICE.

The Indiana Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program (JLAP) provides confidential assistance to judges, lawyers, and law students experiencing any issue that may impact their quality of life or ability to practice law. The Judges and Lawyers Assistance Committee, established by Rule 31 of the Indiana Rules for the Admission to the Bar and the Discipline of Attorneys, oversees JLAP's work. The Court appoints the members of the Committee under Rule 31(3)(a).

Members serve three-year terms that begin on July 1 of the year of appointment, with a maximum of three consecutive terms. Ind. Admission and Discipline Rule 31(3)(b). The term of service will expire for the Honorable David Shaheed on June 30, 2024. The Court thanks Judge Shaheed for his dedication and service.

To replace Judge Shaheed, the Court appoints the Honorable Amber Collins-Gebrehiwet to the Committee for a three-year term beginning on July 1, 2024.

All Justices concur.
