Opinion

No. 04-06-00689-CV

Delivered and Filed: August 22, 2007.

Appeal from the 150th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2006-PA-01172 Honorable Joe Frazier Brown, Jr., Judge Presiding.

Dismissed.

Sitting: CATHERINE STONE, Justice KAREN ANGELINI, STEVEN C. HILBIG, Justice.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Marilinda Tafolla Bernal appeals the trial court's judgment terminating her parental rights. This court ordered Ms. Bernal to file her appellant's brief not later than July 16, 2007. On July 30, 2007, when neither the brief nor a motion for extension of time had been filed, we ordered appellant to file, not later than August 9, 2007, her brief and a written response reasonably explaining her failure to timely file the brief and showing why appellees were not significantly injured by her failure to timely file the brief. We further advised appellant that if she failed to file a brief and the written response by the date ordered, we would dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a). Appellant has not filed a brief or the written response ordered by the court.

We therefore order this appeal dismissed for want of prosecution.
