Opinion

No. 82S00-0708-DI-327

September 7, 2007.

ORDER GRANTING EXTENSION OF TIME

Respondent, by counsel, files a "Motion For Extension Of Time," requesting that Respondent's time to answer the Disciplinary Commission's verified petition to show cause be extended to September 28, 2007.

In response to the Commission's petition, this Court entered an order to show cause on August 24, 2007, ordering Respondent to show cause in writing, within 10 days of service of the order, why Respondent should not be immediately suspended from the practice of law in this state due to failure to submit to the Disciplinary Commission a written response to pending allegations of misconduct requiring a written response. The Court interprets Respondent's motion as a request for an extension of time to comply with this show cause order.

Being duly advised, the Court GRANTS an extension of time to and including September 28, 2007, for Respondent to comply with this Court's order to show cause entered August 24, 2007.

The Court directs the Clerk to forward a copy of this Order to Respondent or Respondent's attorney and to the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission.

Done at Indianapolis, Indiana, 7th this day of September, 2007.
