Opinion

Docket No. 1982.

July 30, 1937.

APPLICATION for a Writ of Habeas Corpus to secure the release of petitioner from custody. Writ denied.

Manuel Relva was charged with having committed the crime of assault with a deadly weapon and, after a hearing before the committing magistrate, was held to answer and stand trial before the superior court. Petitioner contends that the evidence before the committing magistrate was not sufficient to constitute reasonable or probable cause for the order of commitment, and seeks his release from custody in the present proceeding in habeas corpus.

Gladstein, Grossman and Margolis for Petitioner.

No appearance for Respondent.
