ORDER DISMISSING SHOW CAUSE PROCEEDING AS MOOT BY REASON OF RESPONDENT'S CURRENT INDEFINITE SUSPENSION FROM PRACTICE OF LAW
In both of the above-referenced cases, the Court suspended Respondent from the practice of law in Indiana for failure to cooperate with the disciplinary process and ordered payment of the costs of prosecuting the proceedings. On April 29, 2008, the Court imposed an indefinite suspension from the practice of law on Respondent pursuant to Admission and Discipline Rule 23(10)(f)(4) for ongoing failure to cooperate in a different disciplinary proceeding, Cause No. 41S00-0705-DI-197. The Commission now files a motion to dismiss the above-referenced cases as moot in light of Respondent's indefinite suspension.
The Court, being duly advised, now DISMISSES the above-referenced proceedings as moot. If Respondent seeks reinstatement to the practice of law, the issues raised in these cases will be addressed in the reinstatement process under Admission and Discipline Rule 23(4).
The Clerk of this Court is directed to forward notice of this Order to the Respondent or Respondent's attorney and to the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission.
DONE at Indianapolis, Indiana, this 22 nd day of August, 2008.
