Pursuant to Article VI § 11 of the Arizona Constitution, the Arizona Supreme Court appoints the presiding judge of the Superior Court in each county. The Court is advised that the term of the Honorable James A. Soto as Presiding Judge of the Superior Court in Santa Cruz County expires on December 31, 2008. Therefore, after due consideration,

IT IS ORDERED that the Honorable James A. Soto is reappointed as Presiding Judge of the Superior Court in Santa Cruz County, effective January 1, 2009. Judge Soto shall serve at the pleasure of the Court through December 31, 2013.
