OPINION

On January 10, 2007 the Court granted a stay of its Order and Judgment dated December 19, 2006 pending appeal. Under date of January 19 counsel for KBC states that it will appeal from the January 10 Order, and request clarification as to the reason for the Court's granting of that stay.

It is true that in the January 10 Order the Court did not state any reason. However, the reason is obvious. It is to preserve the status quo so that there is no danger of having the effect of the pending appeal in some way nullified.
