From the 226th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2014CR8842A
Honorable Sid L. Harle, Judge Presiding
ORDER
Appellant's brief was originally due November 16, 2015. Appellant filed a first motion for extension of time asking for an additional sixty days to file the brief. We granted appellant's motion in part and ordered appellant to file his brief on or before January 15, 2016. Appellant has now filed a second motion to extend time to file his brief - although he states in the motion this is his first request and that the brief is currently due January 16, 2016 - asking for an additional extension of time to February 17, 2016, which is a request of thirty-three days. We again GRANT IN PART AND DENY IN PART appellant's second motion for extension of time to file appellant's brief. We GRANT appellant an additional thirty days from the current due date of January 15, 2016, and therefore ORDER appellant to file his brief on or before February 15, 2016 - February 14, 2016 is a Sunday, extending the deadline to the fifteenth. Appellant is advised that NO FURTHER EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE THE BRIEF WILL BE GRANTED ABSENT WRITTEN PROOF OF EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES.
