Dennis S. Hundsdorfer & Beverly A. Hundsdorfer, Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue, Respondent
ORDER
Maurice B. Foley Chief Judge.
On August 25, 2021, petitioners filed a First Amended Petition in this case. The First Amended Petition was not properly executed, however, in that it does not bear the signature of petitioner Dennis S. Hundsdorfer.
Accordingly, and for cause, it is
ORDERED that, on or before October 7, 2021, petitioner Dennis S. Hundsdorfer shall file with the Court in paper form (not electronic) a Ratification of First Amended Petition bearing an original signature (not a photocopy), preferably in blue ink, in which petitioner Dennis S. Hundsdorfer states, if such be the case, that he has read the First Amended Petition filed on August 25, 2021, and ratifies and affirms the filing of said document. Petitioner Dennis S. Hundsdorfer is advised that failure to file a Ratification of First Amended Petition as directed may result in his dismissal from this case for lack of jurisdiction. It is further
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court is directed to attach to this Order a form that may be used by petitioner Dennis S. Hundsdorfer for purposes of ratifying the First Amended Petition. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before November 8, 2021, respondent shall file an Answer to petitioners' First Amended Petition.
