Steven Franklin Hughes, Appellant, v. State of Florida, Appellee.

Steven Franklin Hughes, pro se, Appellant. Ashley Moody, Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Appellee.

Not final until disposition of any timely and authorized motion under Fla. R. App. P. 9.330 or 9.331.

On appeal from the Circuit Court for Duval County. R. Anthony Salem, Judge.

Steven Franklin Hughes, pro se, Appellant.

Ashley Moody, Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Appellee.

PER CURIAM

AFFIRMED. This case was pending in this Court at the same time as Hughes v. State, 346 So.3d 221 (Fla. 1st DCA 2022). As we did in that case, we warn Appellant that further frivolous filings in this Court may result in the imposition of sanctions, including a prohibition on further pro se filings in this Court. See § 944.279, Fla. Stat. (2022); State v. Spencer, 751 So.2d 47, 48 (Fla. 1999) ("[A]ny citizen, including a citizen attacking his or her conviction, abuses the right to pro se access by filing repetitious and frivolous pleadings, thereby diminishing the ability of the courts to devote their finite resources to the consideration of legitimate claims.").

ROBERTS, WINOKUR, and TANENBAUM, JJ., concur.
