JEFFREY HUGHES & TAMMY HUGHES, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge

By Order served April 13, 2022, the Court directed petitioners to file an amended petition and pay the Court's $60.00 filing fee or submit an application for waiver thereof. Petitioners paid the the Court's filing fee, however no amended petition has been filed to date. Upon further review of petitioners' Petition and Request for Place of Trial it appears that their written statements and signatures on both documents are no longer visible because they were apparently obliterated through the irradiation process. Accordingly the Court will direct petitioners to file an amended petition signed by petitioners, preferable using an ink pen that is resistant to irradiation.

Upon due consideration and for cause, it is

ORDERED that, on or before August 10, 2022, petitioners shall file with the Court in paper form (not electronic) an Amended Petition bearing original signatures (not a photocopy), preferably using an ink pen that is resistant to irradiation.
