STACEY D. HOWARD, Appellant v. JACK V. LOWERY, ET AL., Appellees

On Appeal from the 401st Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 401-04354-2013

ORDER

On July 6, 2016, the Court received a letter from appellant asking whether we had ruled on his March 3, 2016 "Motion for Filing Late Clerk's Records or Extension of Time to File for an Affidavit of Indigence Under the Rules." In an order dated March 16, 2016, the Court granted appellant's requested ninety-day extension of time to file the clerk's record. The clerk's record was due on June 14, 2016. On June 15, 2016, the Collin County District Clerk notified the Court that appellant had not paid the fee for preparation of the reporter's record.

On the Court's own motion, we ORDER appellant to provide, by AUGUST 15, 2016, written verification that he has paid the clerk's fee. We caution appellant that failure to file the written verification of payment by August 15, 2016 may result in dismissal of the appeal for want of prosecution without further notice. See TEX. R. APP. P. 37.3(b).
