ORDER

Diana L. Leyden Special Trial Judge.

This case is calendared for trial at the February 22, 2022, Washington, DC, Trial Session of the Court.

On January 21, 2022, the parties filed a Joint Motion For Continuance (motion). The motion states that on January 10, 2022, the Independent IRS Office of Appeals closed the case without settlement and forwarded materials to the IRS Office of Chief Counsel for trial preparation. The parties believe additional time is necessary to prepare and settle the case. Upon due consideration and for cause, it is

ORDERED that the parties' Joint Motion for Continuance is granted, in that, this case is continued. It is further

ORDERED that this case is stricken from the Court's February 22, 2022, Washington, DC, Trial Session. It is further

ORDERED that jurisdiction will be retained by the undersigned. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before March 28, 2022, the parties shall file a joint status report informing the Court of the then-present status of the case.
