ORDER

Plaintiff has filed a motion for a three-week enlargement of time to file his brief in response to defendants' motion to dismiss for failure to exhaust administrative remedies. Plaintiff's brief in response is due January 16, 2003. Plaintiff asserts that because of the delay in mail due to the holidays and the cost of stamps, he has been unable to contact a fellow inmate for legal assistance. However, plaintiff need no assistance in responding to defendants' motion. Rather, plaintiff simply needs to show that he has exhausted his administrative remedies with respect to the four claims on which he has been granted leave to proceed. Nevertheless, I will give plaintiff until January 23, 2003, to file his response. Defendant may have until February 3, 2003, to reply. No further extensions will be given.

ORDER

IT IS ORDERED that plaintiff Montell Morton's request for an enlargement of time is GRANTED; plaintiff may have until January 23, 2003, to file his brief in response to defendants' motion to dismiss and defendants may have until February 3, 2003, to file their reply.
