ORDER

EMIN TORO, JUDGE

On January 30, 2023, this case was called and recalled from the Court's Kansas City, Missouri, trial session for a Pretrial Conference. The case was later recalled on January 31, 2023, and February 1, 2023. Petitioner and counsel for respondent appeared and were heard. As discussed during the hearing and agreed to by the parties, the parties are not ready for trial at this time. To give the parties additional time to exchange documents and engage in possible settlement discussions, the Court will continue this case and direct the parties to file a status report. Upon due consideration, and for cause appearing more fully in the transcripts of the proceedings, it is hereby

ORDERED that this case is continued. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before June 15, 2023, the parties shall file with the Court a joint status report (or, if that is not expedient, then separate reports) describing the status of the case. It is further

ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by the undersigned judge.
